Young woman, in a flowing blue dress, her arms crossed behind her head - The Hungarian sculptor Klára Herczeg (Claire Weiss) is one of the most productive porcelain modelers of Art Deco. She spent her childhood in Vienna, attended the art academy in Budapest from 1924-28 and exhibited at the 1937 World's Fair in Paris and in New York in 1939. She designed models for numerous manufacturers such as Goldscheider, Bing & Grondahl, Rosenthal and Herend
