Small spiral-shaped element made of pink marble, mounted on a vividly speckled granite slab in shades of gray - German sculptor, 1980-83 training as a stonemason, 1984 studies in Pietrasanta, 1988 purchase of a farm in Portugal, since 1990 residence and studio in Moncichue, Portugal. His sculptural language is characterized by organic, harmoniously flowing forms, inspired by the landscapes of the Portuguese Algarve. Since 1986, his work has been shown in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad and is represented in many renowned private and public collections
