Mosaic Workshop, Kressborn, Lake of Constance. Midth 20th cent. Wood, feet with brass sabots, mosaic stones in gray, white and gold. H. 50 x 109,5 x 58,5 cm. Inscribed on the underside Berthold Müller, Mosaik-Werkstätte, Kressborn Bodensee (stamped). Traces of oxidation on the brass sabots, 2 mosaic stones missing. Kidney-shaped table with abstract mosaic on three legs. Feet with brass sabots - German sculptor and designer, trained at the Handwerker- und Kunstgewerbeschule in Bielefeld and Berlin, exhibited at the 1933 World Exhibition in Chicago and founded a mosaic workshop in Berlin, moved to Kressbronn on Lake Constance in 1940 and founded the Oberschwäbische Sezession
