Tinted(O-P), VS. with 2 small diamonds in rose cut. 29 small rubies in varying cushion shaped cuts. With box of Kentshire at Bergdorf Goodman. The new figurative, narrative jewellery, known as Novelty Jewellery, became fashionable in the second half of the 19th century in the form of insects, animals and objects - it was considered an accessory for both ladies and gentlemen.
