1984. Cast glass, partially sandblasted, cut and polished, in the upper area striped color fusions in red, blue, black and white. Glass sculpture: H. 24,5 x 35 x 3,2 cm, wooden base: H. 4 cm. Sign. and dated Colin Reid 1984, inscribed R 49. Min. chipped. Two-part sculpture in the shape of a flattened pyramid, the upper part is removable - English glass artist, 1970-1972 Foundation Course, St. Martins School of Art, London, 1975-1977 trained and worked in industry as Scientific Glassblower (Lampwork), 1978-1981 Stourbridge College of Art, Stourbridge, BA Glass. - Colin Reid is regarded as a pioneer in the field of kilncast glass. He exhibits internationally and has work in over 50 museum collections worldwide.
