Engraved inscription: ‘EHRENGABE DER REGIERUNG DES DEUTSCHEN REICHES AN GÜNTHER FREIHERRN VON HUNEFELD DEM WEGBEREITER UND TREUEN GEFÄHRTEN HERMANN KÖHL'S BEI DER ERSTEN BEZWINGUNG DES OZEANS IN DER RICHTUNG VON EUROPA NACH NORDAMERIKA’ with engraved flight path of the Junkers W 33 ‘Bremen’ on 12 and 13.4.1928 as well as the two engraved continents. 67 x 46 cm, weight approx. 2550 g. Separate oval glass plate and 3 books included - The traditional jewelry store was founded in 1761 by Jean Godet and rose to become a court jeweler and purveyor to the court under his descendants. In 1926, the business was finally taken over by goldsmith Ferdinand Richard Wilm.
