Wiener Keramik, Wien. Around 1910. Ceramic, beige earthenware, glazed white and black. H. 21,5 cm, Dm. 20,6 cm. Impressed marks MP, model no. 278 (in black /3), workshop signets, old sticker M. BAUER & SOHN Hoflieferanten (dealer's mark). Three kneeling putti support a protruding bowl with black and white ornamental decoration - Literature: MAK Vienna, photo archive (inventory no. WWF 89-53-3) - Austrian ceramic designer and sculptor, received his training at the Vienna School of Applied Arts, among others, and founded Wiener Keramik in 1906. Besides his figural ceramics, which were shown at numerous international exhibitions, he also received public commissions for art.
