1999. Acrylic and coloured chalk/paper. 63 x 101 cm. Framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - German painter, graphic artist and sculptor. After training as a bricklayer and working as a nurse in the GDR, F. studied at the Hochschule für Graphik und Buchkunst in Leipzig from 1992-97 and received an award early in his studies. The versatile artist also received many commissions for art in public spaces, including large-scale wall designs and a fountain, and he also created a winged altar. F. lives and works near Leipzig.
