Gill 14, lo. le. num. 41/10, matted and framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - US-American painter and graphic artist. G. worked as an architect before he began working as a freelance artist in Los Angeles in 1962. His breakthrough came in the same year, when MoMA in New York purchased one of his works. At the height of his fame in the early 1970s, G. withdrew from the public eye and did not begin exhibiting again until the 1980s.
