A. first studied art history in Göttingen, then from 1978-84 painting at the Academy Kassel with M. Bluth. 1993/94 he received a teaching position at the University of Applied Sciences for Design Hamburg. A. is a member of the Künstlersonderbund. A. exhibited at Art Karlsruhe, but also at the German Maritime Museum in Bremenhaven and the Wenzel Hablik Museum in Itzehoe. The artist lives and works in Itzehoe.
