1996. Lithograph in colours and stencil. 57 x 40 cm. On the reverse monogr. and dat. dat. IK 96 as well as num. pp 3/5, framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - German painter and sculptor. K. studied at the Werkkunstschule Darmstadt and later at the Düsseldorfer Akademie under Joseph Beuys, together with Blinky Palermo and Jörg Immendorff. Here he also worked in 'Raum 19' with his friend Imi (Rainer) Giese as 'Imi + Imi' from 1966-69. K. was awarded the Kythera Price in 2011 and was made Officier des Arts et Lettres in 2016. K.'s minimalist art consists of geometric shapes and simple colours. His work can be found in a variety of collections, such as the German Bundestag amongst others.
