2007. Oil/canvas. 100 x 120 cm. Up. le. monogr. and dat. CL 07, on the reverse monogr. and dat. again as well as titled 'Hafenszene'. - German landscape painter. L. studied 1992-98 at the Academy Berlin with K. Fußmann, finally as his master student. Since 1999 L. is a member of the Künstlersonderbund, since 2003 also a member of the Norddeutsche Realisten. He has received several scholarships and prizes, including from the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts and the Art Prize of the Schleswig-Holstein Economy. In addition, L. had a wealth of teaching assignments. The Schleswig-Holstein Landesmuseum Schloss Gottorf and the Museum Würth recently honored the artist with solo exhibitions. His paintings are in numerous public collections. The artist lives and works in Berlin.
