Engel, cat. rais., 1990, no. 242, p. 149 - Provenance: For the birth of the consignor, his parents received the painting as a gift from the artist. In 1973 it became the property of the consignor. - Plein air painter and graphic artist, student of W. Friedrich and P. Meyerheim in Berlin and of Schönleber and Baisch in Karlsruhe, as well as of L.v. Löfftz and P. Höcker in Munich. He member of the Munich secession and co-founder of the Berlin secession.
