Totem-like sculpture, figurally painted and inscribed with sayings such as 'Am Arsch hängt die Freiheit' ('Freedom hangs on your ass'), two prohibition signs from the former GDR restricted zone on top, base plate signed and dated 'Keil Leipzig 83'. 188 x 100 x 38 cm. - German painter a. sculptor. After an apprenticeship as artisan blacksmith K. studied at the Berlin Hochschule der Künste 1959-61. He is a main exponent of the so called 'Neue Wilde' from Berlin.
