After training as a typesetter, K. lived in Israel for a year in 1964. 1966-69 he studied art, German and sociology at the Pedagogical College in Alfeld. His bread and butter profession was newspaper editor, at the same time painting was of utmost importance to him. The artist, who could not part with his works during his lifetime, lived in extreme seclusion in the Wendland. Only after his death could exhibitions take place. His paintings show him as an interesting representative of Concrete Art.
