Negative jigsaw figure, 27 x 23,5 cm, pencil drawing, 27 x 23,5 cm, lo. ri. autographed and dat. Al Hansen 1992, both framed under glass. Min. dam. - American artist. H. first studied art in New York, from 1956 expertimental music with John Cage. From 1967 to 1979 he held various teaching positions, including Greenland. H. became one of the leading figures of the Fluxus movement and was also active in Andy Warhol's 'Factory'. In 1983 he moved to Cologne and founded an academy for performative art. The stone-age Venus of Willendorf, often recreated from objets trouvés, is a recurring motif in his oeuvre.
