Ptolemaic period, 323 - 30 BC. Wood, polychrome painted, on white stucco. Face mask with black contoured eyes, large pupils and eyebrows, the wig is attached to the forehead. Painting almost completely intact, original wooden nails for fastening to the coffin partly still in the mask. Montiert. 18.5 x 17 cm. - Provenance: Collection F.C. Gundlach, Hamburg. -
