Meissen. Midth 18th cent., designed 1743. Porcelain, colourfully painted. H. 13 cm. Unglazed bottom without crossed swords mark. Prof. rest. - Since 1742 assistant of J.J. Kaendler, worked in the Meissen manufactory until his death 1768 and was strongly influenced by Kaendler's style. He was primarily employed for figure series but he also created independently various own models.
