Before 1985, gelatine silver print, 20 x 15 cm, on the reverse artist's name, stamp of the 'Center for Photographic Arts' and notes of Kertesz, matted and framed under glass. - US-american photographer of Hungarian origin. K. worked in a bank when he began to take pictures. In 1925 he moved to Paris where he collaborated with Brassaï. He emigrated to the USA in 1936 and worked for leading magazines like Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. K. received many honours, among others he was member of the legion of honour.
