Matted. - Compare to an example in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (Nr. JP2324) and the whole triptych in the Museum of Fine Arts Boston (Nr. 11.19852).- Japanese ukiyo-e artist and poet, pupil of Hokkei and Hokusai, best known for his kyôka poetry and surimono works.
