Ahlers-Hestermann 1905, on the reverse label of the Frühjahrs-Kunstausstellung Hamburg 1907, of the Berlin academy, of gallery Commeter a. others, unframed. - Cat. rais.: Manigold 28. - The important early work shows in its composition, its colourism a. colour application still influences of French impressionism. According to Ahler-Hestermanns own assessment the painting contrasts the darker earlier works with its freshness. - Painter a. author, trained by A. Siebelist, travelled to Paris with F. Nölken a. W. Rosam where he became pupil of H. Matisse in 1910 a. met his future wife, A.
