Gerrit Bekker (Hamburg 1943) - Sell & Buy
German painter, graphic artist, sculptor a. writer, studied 1965-68 at the Kiel academy under G. Brockmann a. G. Domke. Since 1995 he works in his Berlin studio, since 1996 also in a studio in Lindewitt in Schleswig-Holstein. Among his numerous awards are the Mara Cassens Prize for the best novel debut in German language a. the Hebbel Prize, but also a Writer's Residence in New York.
