Oil/canvas, 38 x 38 cm, lo. le. sign. R. Kummer, relined. - Expertise: Elisabeth Nüdling, Fulda, 9.12.17, confirms the authenticity. The painting will be included to the supplement of the cat. rais. - Provenance: Private collection Schleswig-Holstein. - German landscape painter. As early as 1825 he started studying at the Dresden academy but was also trained by J. C. Dahl and his godfather C. D. Friedrich. With a scholarship of the Saxonian king he travelled Italy for the first time in 1832/33, he also went to see the Adria, Scotland and Egypt.
