The painting was thus created in the first half of the 16th cent. - Provenance: Private collection Sweden. - Dutch portrait painter. Nothing is known about the early years of the artist. In 1550 he was in Rome, returned to the Netherlands and worked for the Spanish court in Madrid and in London.
