Nuremberg, 16th cent. Bronze with black-green patina. 22 x 20,5 cm, material thickness ca 4mm. Mounted on velvet. - The multi-figured composition is based on a sandstone triptych by Veit Stoß in the Sebaldus Church in Nuremberg (1499). It's likely that the relief was created in one of the local bronze workshops. -
