Three pen and ink and one pencil drawing, 38 to 43 x 29 to 59,5 cm, sign., partly estate stamp, partly matted, unframed. - German painter and graphic artist. J. studied at Hamburg and Altona arts schools from 1924 to 1926, did study trips to Italy and Paris and was friends with K. Kluth. J.'s work was classified as degenerate by the National Socialists. In 1943 the bigger part of her oeuvre was burned. Most of J.'s highly expressive works show people on the margins of society or thematise human passions.
