Marble plinth h. 2 cm. - Provenance: Private Collection Hamburg - Swiss sculptor, painter a. designer. S. was a son of the founder of the pharmaceutical industry of the same name. He became chemist but then entered on an artistic career. He studied at the arts a. crafts schools in Geneva a. since 1905 in Paris. Although very versatile he ist most renowned for his animal figures.
