Northern Italy, Verona or Venice, around 1600. Bronze with olive brown patina and remains of black laquer. Bellied vessel, based on 3 satyr boys sitting on scrollwork, between them garlands. Lid with scrollwork cartouches, handle and finial in the shape of a figurine of David with the head of Goliath. H. 17 cm, diam. 9 cm. - Literature: Comp. K.
