Ca. 1938/39, gouache a. watercolour, 60 x 46 cm, lo. ri. sign. E. Huber, lo. middle titled 'Kathedrale in Santiago', matted a. framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. - Austrian landscape painter. H. was trained as type setter, but also worked as lithographer since 1915. H. was an autodidact in painting, by the medium of J. Hoffmann he came in contact with established artist in Vienna; in 1920 he became member of the Sonderbund, in 1930 member of the Vienna secession, where he had been exhibiting since 1921. H. travelled extensively, among others to South America.
