Meissen, around 1755, firegilded bronze mount (19th cent.). Baluster-shaped body, the foot with rich rocaille relief decor. At the side two rocaille handles with sitting putti, in their hands cherry twigs and grapes. The body on both sides painted with a flower bouquet, sculptural flower twigs. Open-worked lid with flower bud finial. Crossed swords mark. Prof. rest., small chips. H. 39 cm. - Literature: Rückert II, ill. 756.
