Meissen, 2000. One of a kind. Baluster-shape, continous polychrome painted irises decor. Crossed swords mark. At the bottom numbered '311/2000', sign. and dat. in grey 'Horst Bretschneider 2000'. H. 43 cm, diam. 22 cm. - Expertise: Certificate from Meissen Manufactory, 7 November 2000. - Contemporary porcelain artist, who begun his training with 16 years as flower painter for the Meissen manufactory, since 1985 also active in the design of the exterior of public buildings, e.g. in 2001 he created the monumental wall painting on porcelain 'The most beautiful castles, palaces and gardens in Saxonia' for the entrance hall of Dresden-Neustadt station (together with Heinz Werner).
