Nancy, around 1925/30. Whitish opaque glass, at the lower area red and green marbled, light and dark red flashing, rubyred foot. Continous decor: etched flowers and leaves of the lady's slipper. Inscribed: 'ADELATTE NANCY' (Highetching), AD ligated). Min. best. H. 24 cm. - French artist. 1921 foundation of the glass factory 'Les Verreries de l'Est SA' in Jarville near Nancy. Production of etched flashed glasses, especially with flower and landscape decor, competing with the manufactory Daum.
