Figures Meissen, around 1751, the model by Friedrich Elias Meyer. Mounted on a rich, very finely ciseled rocaille base made of french fire gilded bronze. Decorative branches with porcelain flowers traditionally made in Vincennes and Meissen. Crossed swords mark verso of the Malabar woman's base. Prof. rest. Figures h. 18,5 cm, total height 30 cm. - Such precious arrangements were highly demanded in France in the middle of 18th cent. - Literature: Referring to the Meyer-models see the Musterkatalog der VEB Meissen, 1963, Figuren II, page 9 u. 10; Rückert I, Nr. 987.
