The stand with allover decoration of gold leafs and foliage.The sakazuki (sake cups) with different motifs in takamakie on gold kinji ground and decoration in gold nashiji. 1 sakazuki inscribed and sign. 'Kakosai'. 1 cup min. rest. H. of the stand 18 cm, diam. of cups 12,5 - 10 cm. - Shozan Kakosai was a lacquer artist, who worked in Edo during the 19th century. Lit.: E. A.
