K. studied 1929-37 at the Warsaw academy not only painting, but also design a. interior design. Shortly after he began to workd as stage designer for the leading Polish theatres. In 1944 he took part in the Warsaw uprising. In 1949 he was among the founders of the artist's group 4F+R. Until the early 1960s he worked in an informel style but than included assemblages a. hard edge elements. K.s works featured many exhibitions, also in West Europe. - Mus.: Warsaw, Poznan, Szczecin, Katowice a. others.
