Paris, beg. of 20th cent. Bronze with brown patina, figure h. 37 cm, reddish marble base h. 3 cm (small rest.), on plinth sign. 'P. Dubois'. - For the sculpture of the Florentine lute player Dubois won at the Salon of 1865 in Paris the Medal of Honor. The original is in the Musée d'Orsay. - Comp. ill. in Berman, p. 118.
