China, Northern Dynasties/Tang-dynasty (618-907). Ceramic with red body and olive-green glaze. Globular cover vessel on 3 small legs with 2 L-shaped side handles (1 handle rep.). At both sides of the wall a plastical lion's head. The cover with 3 ring loops in stylised shape of a bird. H. 21cm. - The result of QED Laboratoire, Aix-en-Provence, thermoluminescence test no. QED1316/FC-0404 is consistent with the dating of this lot.
