Late 18th cent., oil/canvas, 44 x 35,5 cm, some rest., relined. - Venetian portrait, figure a. history painter. L. was pupil of A. Balestra, later he was much influenced by G. M. Crespi. L.'s portraits a. genre paintings proof him to be a good a. humourous observer. Many of his paintings charm the spectator with their delicate colours.
