Paris, travelled the work a. lived in France for seven years before moving ot Asia. He was awarded the 'Österreichischer Staatspreis für angewandte Kunst' in 1961 for his stage design for Jean Genets 'The Balcony' in Vienna. He took part in many international exhibitons, among others the Sao Paolo biennal.
