Probably 16th cent. Silver, partly gilded. Crossbow shaped jewel, in front with the figure of Christ Crucified. Type, cloth and head in tradition of the crucifixion group of the early 16th cent. as for example the crucifixion groups of Tilman Riemenschneider of 1505 (Hess. Landesmus. Darmstadt). On top one square cut diam. and one small round cut diam. (verso covered). On the reverse clip. 57 x 47 mm, weight c. 18 g.
