Anselmo and Corine, Modell no. 49/205. Mezzetino and Lalage, Modell no. 68/1. Pantalone and Julia, Modell no. 57/11. Scaramuz and Colombine, Modell no. 240/76. Capitano Spavento and Leda, Modell no. 272/85. Octavio and Isabella, Modell no 55/6. Impr. mark H. 17-21 cm. (Comp. Ziffer, Nymphenburger Moderne, S. 451-454) - Bustelli created the 16 characters of the Italien inpromptu theater in pairs of snap-shots, showing the diff. romantic relationships in a humoristic way. Each figurine is a masterpiece singularly, but only the unit of the composition shows the deeper meaning. In 1802 nearly all modells of Bustelli have been destroyed and c. 1890 Nymphenburg started the recreation based on castings of preserved examples. Original price c. 105.000,- €.
