France, end of 19th cent. Bronze, patinated, front labeled "Lutinerie", sign. "H. Allouard", french painter and sculptor. Allouard was famous for his innovativ combinations of coloured marble and bronze. On an oval base the femal bacchus with her thyros bar, lying on an lions skin. Next to her the small satyr, whom she is dragging on his ear. H. 24 cm, l. 38 cm.
