Berlin, mid 19th cent. MM.: 'Humbert & Sohn', Jean George since 1830 working with his son George (died 1863). Controlmark bear with 'M' and 'E', engraved line. The corpus richly decorated with shell-ornament, foliage and flowers and crowned monogram 'HK'. Cover handle with plastic branch and flowers, roses on side handles. (Comp. lit. Rosenberg, no. 1228). Inside gilded. H. 30 cm. Weight ca. 5900 gr.
