Bronze, darkbrown patinated. Figure: H. 39 cm, stonebase: H. 12 cm. Signed Prof. V. Seifert. Stone base minor chipped. Tranquil genre depiction of two girls sitting intimately next to each other on a bench, engrossed in an open book - German sculptor. Seifert attended schools in Vienna and Munich and studied at the Museum of Decorative Arts and at the Berlin Art Academy under Ernst Herter, Ludwig Manzel and Peter Breuer.
