1967. Figures: Bronze, gilt and silvered, chess board: light green and white agate, inlaid in marble slab. Figures: H. ca. 8-11,5 cm, chess board: 49 x 49 cm. The strongly alienated play figures are formally reminiscent of Alberto Giacometti - Provenance: Essen Collection, Hamburg - British artist, after studying music and working as a professional musician, changed to textile design and abstract sculpture and related jewellery, from 1969 in her own studio in Apulia, where she produced her large-scale abstract figures.
