Finely detailed bronze of a roaring stag on a terrain base. - Only a few bronzes are known of Wilhelm Kuhnert, who was trained as an animal and landscape painter and was particularly interested in African wildlife. He executed the motif of the roaring deer both in oil and in pencil. These probably served as a model for the casting in bronze. Around 1920. Dark patinated bronze.
