1987. Etching and aquatint, 24,5 x 33 cm, lo. ri. autographed and dated G. Kluge 1987, unframed. - Painter and graphic artist. K. studied painting at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg from 1968 to 1972. In 1974 he was a co-founder of Produzentengalerie Hamburg. From 1978 to 1985 he took on a teaching position at his former educational institution and moved in the circle of the 'Hamburger Neue Wilde' around Werner Büttner, Martin Kippenberger and Albert Oehlen. In 1988 he was awarded the Edwin Scharff Prize. Between 1996 and 2014, he was a professor at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe. The artist lives and works in Karlsruhe and Hamburg.
