Watercolour, heightened with white, 22 x 32 cm, lo. le. monogr. BK, matted and framed under glass. - German landscape painter. After training as a decorative painter, K. began studying at the Dresden School of Arts and Crafts in 1911, which he dropped out of after a short time. After studying at the Dresden Academy with Felixmüller and Böckstiegel, he walked to Spain in 1913. Back at the academy, he was given a master studio in 1914 and became a professor in 1946.
