Meissen, Böttger porcelain, around 1715-20, gold painting Seuter workshop, Augsburg, around 1725-30. Gilded-silver mount. The body shows a continous frieze with gold chinoiseries: on scrollwork pedestals a pair of Chinese preparing and drinking tea, a group of Chinese in the garden. Gold border characteristic of Augsburg. Unglazed underside without mark. The gold painting slightly worn. H. (mount included) 16,5 cm. - Lit.: Ducret, Meißner Porzellan, bemalt in Augsburg, Bd.
