Oil/wood, 24,5 x 35 cm, lo. ri. inscribed probably by another hand M. Schoevaerts, on the reverse two collector's stamps. - Flemish landscape painter. Since 1682 S. was pupil of A. F. Boudewyns in Brussels. In 1690 he became master of the local guild, in 1694 its deacon. He painted extensive landscape like J.
